What to look forward to this year in 2010?
Its hard to think that a decade has past t, but there is a lot in store for the future…. especially in music. I have already seen over 10 albums that are coming out by my favorite artists. Here is a list of what I am looking forward to in 2010.
11. MGMT - Congratulations - Spring 2010

I’m excited to see what will be the new smash hit for hipsters, Even though ‘Kids’ became old fast I do still enjoy MGMT’s music so I am a little excited. It is rumored that Chemical Brothers will be on the album, hopefully MGMT will make that happen.
10. Ghostface, Raekwon and Method Man - The Wu-Massacre - Before Summer 2010

Being a huge Wu-Tang fan, I am kind of bummed the GZA isn’t participating with The Wu-Massacre, and if this album is a bust I will know the reason why. But my man RZA is producing so this album will be DOPEEEEEE! R.I.P. ODB
9. Eminem - Relapse 2 - Before Summer 2010

Recently I have had no love for Eminem. His arab-esque flow turned me off to anything he had developed. But Relapse 2 has potential, posing as Marshall Mathers, to do as well as Marshall Mathers LP.
8. Common - The Believer- Summer 2010

This last year I started to fall in love with Common. His next album The Believer, which is being produced by Kanye and No I.D., will definitely be better then the electro poppy Universal Mind Control. I am convinced that Kanye will do a great job.
7. Drake - Thank Me Later - March 2010

Drizzy is my man and I expect the best out of him. His album is ranked the most anticipated for 2010, wanna know why? Well the featured artists on the album are Kanye, Sade, The-Dream, Jay-Z and Lil’ Wayne. ENOUGH SAID!
6. Beastie Boys - Hot Sauce Committee Pt.1 - Before Summer 2010

The Beastie Boys have made their mark in Underground hip-hop… now with a few years behind them can they keep that legacy going? YES YES YES THEY CAN! Having to postpone their album release due to Adam Yauch being diagnosed with throat cancer (which will not affect his rapping), this will help them overcome adversity and will help them follow up with a huge hit.
5. Gorillaz - Plastic Beach - March 2010

THEY ARE BACK! I thought Demon Days would be the last album we would see of the Gorillaz, but looks like I am wrong. Having Mos Def, Snoop Dogg and De la Soul on the record may give this album more of a hip-hop feel. They leaked a song this early week and I wasn’t ‘feeling it’, so please Gorillaz…. DONT SCREW UP!
4. Lil’ Wanye - Tha Carter 4 - Winter 2010

All I have to say is ‘MAKE UP FOR RE-BIRTH” (Lil’ Wayne will not disappoint)
3. Justice - TBD - Early 2010

The french duo have done a great job of keeping themselves off the radar this past year. And I think its on purpose. This album will hit hard when it comes out. Maybe this album could have one or two collabos… Kid Cudi?
2. Kid Cudi - Cudder: The Revolution of Evolution - Summer 2010

It’s Kid Cudi and he is a genius…. enough said. Oh one thing to say is that Neptunes and Kanye will be on the beat!
1. Kanye West - TBD - Fall 2010

My man Yeezy has gone through a lot of ups-and-downs these past couple years, from his mothers death to the Taylor Swift confrontation. Many people hate on Kanye for his ego and his attitude towards competing artists. There is one goal that Kanye has to reach to become a success…. to be hated on even more!
Kanye is back with an ALL RAP album, having the best producer work on his own album will make TRUE fans appreciate Kanye for who he is. Oh who will be on the album you might ask? Take a look for yourself….Kid Cudi, Consequence, Common, Mr. Hudson, Drake, No I.D., and Tony Williams. KANYE IS BACK!!!!!!
