Back to the Feature - Wale

The freshman class is taking over hip-hop. Especially Wale. Though being behind KiD CuDi’s shadow, Wale is often mixed up with Cudder. Though I love KiD CuDi, it sad to say he has sold out unlike Wale. Though they seem the same they are two very different artists.  I recently came across an old Wale mixtape called Back To The Feature with producer 9th Wonder. I will say that this album is AMAZING! Not only is his flow on point, but the beats are far greater then expected from a mixtape. The album features producers like Mark Ronson, Cool & Dre & Warren G. And to top it off the artists featured on the mixtape are Peter, Bjorn & John, Talib Kweli, Lady Gaga, J. Cole, Bun B and the lists goes on. Wale is able to relate to teenagers today by talking about one night stands and tweeting. After listening to this album I have gained a huge appreciation for Wale. I am ready to see his career blossum, he has the potential to pass the rest of his peers.
